ShrinkURL now at v0.5.6. Adds support for Digg short urls

We all know the power of Digg.com. Now they're reaching into the short URL space with the Diggbar. A short URL created with the Digg API will display a "Diggbar" across the top of the screen ala the Adjix short URL. It allows the user to digg the story, view comments, get a random Digg URL, and more. This feature was released just in the last day or two and Shrinkadoo, and ShrinkURL already have full support for it. Digg away my friends, Digg away.

Over the weekend I took the time to add TEN new services to ShrinkURL. In addition, because my AIR application Shrinkadoo uses shrinkURL's API, Shrinkadoo now has access to those SAME services, with no update required. The new services are Adjix, Lincr, PiURL, Trakz, Idek, PeaURL, ChilpIt, PntMe, MooURL and HREFin. Use them well.

shrinkURL updated to version 0.4.4, demo interface rewritten

It's been a while since I've written an update for shrinkURL, but this is a pretty good one. I've added seven new services: ShortIE, Short.to, W3t, EasyURL, BudURL, Tr.im, and URLZen (give it up for Nashville), and I've rewritten the demo interface. Instead of creating a short URL for each service supported by shrinkURL, you can now choose only the one you want. Check out the new demo. As always, you can download the project from RIAForge.

Now I know what you're thinking...not ANOTHER URL shortening service! If you WERE thinking that, just keep reading another minute or so because this is better! This is a library which provides a centralized API wrapper for multiple URL shortening services. "What's that you say? I'm intrigued now." Those of you that were thinking about pancakes, or something else can also keep reading. This library is for everyone, or at least everyone who wants shorter URLs in their code.
