Are you a JavaScript, or jQuery developer and want to find out more about Adobe AIR? Are you interested in building desktop applications, but don't know how to get started? Then you should definitely check out the free presentation I'll be giving to the Boston ColdFusion User Group on July 21st at 6:30 ET.

jQuery, AIR & ColdFusion: Desktop Development for the Front End Designer
This session will help developers who have skills in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript leverage those abilities to build robust desktop applications using the jQuery JavaScript library and the Adobe AIR framework. The session will provide an overview of both the AIR framework, and the jQuery framework, give practical examples and code samples, and explain why one might choose this deployment type over the more popular Flex/Flash method.

Hi Andy, I was among the attendees of tonight's Boston CFUG meeting. Great presentation! I was the one with the question about ORM for SQLite. I asked because I remembered reading that there was one. Just in case anyone ever asks about that the next time, I found this: http://www.adobe.com/newsletters/edge/october2009/articles/article7/index.html?trackingid=EXBII
