Back in October Google quietly released their branded URL shortener Goo.gl. Not a lot of fuss was made about it as Google didn't also release a public API. But sometime after January 1, that all changed with the release of the Goo.gl API. I'm proud to announce that you can now utilize the Goo.gl service from within shrinkURL 0.6.0. I've also removed some services that are no longer around, namely POPrl, URLZen, Zima, ShortTo, Trim, ShortIE, W3t, EasyURL, Lincr, HREFin, PiURL, and PeaURL.
