I'm pleased to announce that I'm going to be teaching a course on jQuery Mobile over at CodeLesson.com. If you've not heard of CodeLesson, it's an excellent resource for people who want to learn technology such as Ruby, jQuery, and that sort of thing, but prefer to have a more traditional learning experience rather than doing it all on their own. This course is a 4 week, instructor-led course (by yours truly of course) and sign-up is open now. If you caught my jQuery Mobile presentation at cf.Objective() and wanted more, then this is the course for you. If you want a sneak preview of the course, then join me at D2WC July 14-16 in Kansas City where I'll be presenting on jQuery Mobile.

Four weeks...three times/week? Went to the site and may have missed it, but I was unable to ascertain how often/when the class will meet. Thanks, Mark

Mark...as I understand it, the class doesn't "meet" per se. You get a series of lessons per week, somewhere between 3-5 I think. You turn in each lesson and I would grade it. That way each person can go at their own pace, yet live inside a more structured environment.
I'm a little worried though because it's been over a month and the class hasn't met it's required minimum paid students for it to start.

Mark, CodeLesson courses are available 24 hours a day while the course is in session so you can do the course work any time that's convenient to you. You can read more about our format here: http://codelesson.com/faq Andy -- it usually takes a little while to fill up a CodeLesson course, particularly when the course is new -- 4 weeks is not unreasonable. We've got a few students for your course already and I'm confident we'll have more soon (and I'm definitely going to be in your course as a student as well). I'll be in touch regarding next steps when as we get to that point. Thanks!

I gotcha Jeffrey...was just getting worried that so many students have marked it as "interested" but not paid yet.

Yeah, for whatever reason we get lots of people who sign up and don't pay right away. It's OK -- we send them little email reminders a couple times a month until they either commit to taking the course (by paying) or unenroll themselves.

Hey Andy, I checked your site out while looking for some tips on using jquerymobile. I hope all is well with your class gig. Now that jquerymobile release candidate version one is out and the final release of version one soon to come out maybe we can get some stability. Some of those features wouldn't work for me in beta 2 & 3. Anyway... hopefully you'll write another article about it soon. - Joel
